Bloody hell!
Basically I'm not supposed to ever have money! Due to the fact that I have an individual tenancy agreement for this place, I'm having to pay council tax! It's like £841 per year, and that's with a 25% discount! Normally I wouldn't have to pay it because I'm on a low income but because we don't have a joint agreement I'm not officially liable to pay, so I don't qualify for exemption. My contact says I have to pay it so I have to. It's an annoying situation because there's no way out of it, I've checked every possible solution to this problem but I've had no luck. If I lived anywhere else I'd be ok. The bill isn't even going to be split between the three of us because they're both students. This means that what with rent and bills I'm going to have absolutely no money left, and that means not one free penny. If my bills go up I'm screwed. I would move to another place but I can't as I wouldn't be able to afford the rent (mine is real cheap you see).
I repeat, bloody hell!

I saw The Dark Knight yesterday and oh my Ryan I enjoyed it so much. Is it strange that I found the Joker slightly attractive? It was such a fantastic film and that's all I can really say, no others would do it justice.
Mr Joker, what a card.

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be engulfed by a relentless mass of inescapable fear?
Have you ever gone to sleep terrified that in a matter of hours you'll have to repeat the insufferable cycle that is and can only be the same as the day you've just endured?
Has there ever been a time when you've thought that you will never look at yourself and say "yes, that'll do, I'm happy with who I am"?
When you think about the future do you see only a void that cannot, no, will not be filled by anyone or anything?
Do you wonder what it is like to have a dream that does not involve your departure from the world of the living?
Does your past repulse you and make you wish that you had never existed?
Do you feel emotions that can never be described by anything other than the pain you inflict on yourself?
Is every day a struggle, a conflict that you are desperately losing due to your weakness and lack of motivation?
If you answer these questions with a simple yes, and I use the word 'simple' flippantly, then you, like me, suffer greatly.
If this is the case then get help, don't end up the way I have; trapped forever in an endless sequence of self hatred and harm... and murder.

So I'm now a grown up and I have started at uni. I love this place, I mean, my room is fabulous and so is the campus. Soon enough I'll be studying the course I've always wanted to do and I've already met so many lovely people. I know that I am lucky but I just can't shake this terrible feeling I have inside. This place may be great but it's still nothing without my friends.
Later I have a few introductory talks about my course then after that the partying continues. More alcohol, more music, more new people. I miss you guys.
This week is going to be so busy. I'll post my Freshers' timetable at some point, I'll also attempt to put all of my photos on here. I doubt I'll get round to that.
Luvooo xxx

I just read my baby book. Apparently I started to speak at when I was nine months old and by the time I was one I knew the days of the week, colours and other general vocabulary. How odd.

I had many dreams last night. In the first one I was Action Harry escaping from Hogwarts, I had to jump through panes of glass and everything. In my second dream I was on my old school bus, nothing happened, I was just there. My last two dreams were amazing. In one I was tackling an assault course created by my good friend Russell Brand. He was MY GOOD FRIEND!! We chatted a lot and there were many sexual innuendos. Finally I dreamt about my Ryan Ross. In this dream I was at a gig and he came up to me to give me a hug, then another one. Twas lovely.
More flat shenanigans today plus psychiatrist at 11. Scary scary.

What a day. The flat is looking a bit better now, thank god (who does not exist). I plastered (scary scary) and sanded and painted my way through today. There is still a hell of a lot to do though. More tomorrow, YAY!
Yesterday I had my hairs snipped. I feel so much lighter now, it's so strange.

At about two o'clock this afternoon we finally exchanged. As soon as we got the keys we went to the flat and started to clear it out. There is so much to do there. It's obvious that the previous owner was a slob. We have loads more clearing to do then so SO much decorating. Then we have to fit the kitchen & bathroom and collect all our furniture (all 700 pieces) from Ikea. Wish us luck!

Yesterday it was my birthday. I'm finally 19! I had a really nice day. My mum woke me up in the morning with party poppers, I nearly s**t myself, honestly. She then gave me my presents and a nice cup o' tea. Eventually I got up. Sarah came over at about ten which was nice. Unfortunately she couldn't stay for long but never mind, it was lovely to see her. A bit later on my mum and I went into town. First I went into Manns Music (love that shop) to get a guitar string, then into HMV to use a voucher. My mum bought me lunch in the Playhouse and after that I went into Topman and bought a black shirt and a Trilby. I then bought some braces from Era (YAY). I pretty much have my RyRo (♥) costume now (the one I spoke about in my last post).
We picked Tony up at 5 and went to Cineworld to see Evan Almighty. It's such a funny film. I laughed so hard and the animals made me smile (sadistically). Afterwards we went into Chicagos for many drinks.
That night I drank like three bottles of wine.
Today I went to Baylham Farm. I say this every time but I love that place. And being able to hug the animals is so wonderful. They luvd me.
I just ate a whole jar of chili peppers.

My costume is probably going to be a variation of this, maybe with a scarf. It's not very theatrical though is it? Do you think it'll be ok? It's certainly easy, I mean, it's just a black shirt, white braces, striped trousers and a hat (paperboy?).
 Isn't he beautiful!

Life is like a movie; if you've sat through more than half of it and it's sucked every second so far, it probably isn't going to get any better right at the end and make it all worthwhile. No one should blame you for walking out early.

[20 Aug 2007|07:23pm] |
So yes, I got back from the V Festival earlier. It was truly one of the best weekends I've ever experienced.
I arrived at Highlands Park on Friday. We had to park in the yellow car park as the rest were closed at the time. Anyway, this meant that I had an hour long walk ahead of me, an hour long walk with hundreds of bags! We were carrying my Auntie and Uncle's things too you see. After the trek of a lifetime we finally arrived at the red campsite. We chose that one because it has the most facilities (toilets, bars, taps, bars, shops, bars, fast food stalls etc). It didn't take long to set up our little camp. We pitched our tents so that they, along with two windbreakers, created a kinda haven in the middle where we could all sit and eat, have a few (more than a few) drinks together. I call it a haven as that was one of the only spaces in the whole site. There were thousands of tents!
Friday night was so relaxing. We spent our time exploring and looking round the stalls. It was so nice. Through the night one of the arenas (the JJB tent) plays films and gives out free popcorn. Friday night was Top Gun, Hot Fuzz and The Goonies. I would have watched them all but they finished at like five o'clock in the morning. I got as far as Top Gun, THE FIRST ONE!
Saturday was yet another fantastic day. I'd had about four hours sleep the previous night due to the extremely loud sex the couple in the tent next door were having. They were practically in my tent. Ewwww! Despite this, and the extremely hard floor, I woke up totally refreshed. My Auntie Char and Uncle Dan turned up at about 9 and whilst they were settling in I cooked breakfast for everyone.
As soon as the arenas opened we headed in. There were so many great bands on throughout the weekend it was so hard to pick which ones to see. We started the day with The Hoosiers, they were playing in the Union tent. I can't get over how awesome they were. After that we went to the 4 music stage to see The Thrills who were amazing, The Fray, unbelievably dull, and Jet. I saw Jet last time at V and they were so good, this time they were even better. This is kinda rushed I know but I'm tired 8D Next up was Pink and Snow Patrol on the main V stage. Pink puts on such a show and I was pleasantly surprised. Snow Patrol sounded good but lacked showmanship. I'm just being picky, they were still brilliant. Boy Kill Boy = great. They were playing over in the Union tent. I wasn't sure what to expect to begin with but afterwards I was so impressed. The final band on the Saturday was The Kooks on the 4 music stage. WOW! I didn't think my day could get any better but I was wrong. I'd love to see them again.
At about 12am we headed back to our tent. The five of us sat outside with junk food and alcohol. I ate so much and whoops (not penetration), I drank three litres of white wine, a box. I was not drunk at all, I wouldn't have had so much to drink if I felt myself going. Strange.
Next morning I awoke feeling just as refreshed as I did the previous one. I was so excited about the bands that I was going to see. I was smiley smiley. Breakfast consisted of egg and hotdog sandwiches and beer. Twas nice. We went and sat in the Carling tent where music was playing and chilled.
At 1 o'clock we entered the arena. The first band I saw was the Goo Goo Dolls on the main V stage. It's so easy to dance to their music. I loved their set. Afterwards I had to rush over to the 4 music stage to see Captain. I was right at the front for this one. They were so good, I'd recommend them to everyone. Unfortunately Graham wanted to see Sophie Ellis-Bextor (who I hate) next but never mind. Enough about that. So tired, must rush now. After she who must not be named, I stayed where I was to see Mcfly. I really like them so this was a treat. All I can say is they have such wonderful stage presence. I'm so lucky. Over to the V stage for The Fratellis, fantastic, then back to the 4 music stage for MIKA. He put on such a show. He had dancers dressed as animals, a giant "big girl" statue on stage and balloons were continuously released into the air. I want to see him again and again and again. I luvim. Lilly Allen followed him. She was so funny! Finally Kasabian on the main V stage followed by The Killers. They were both amazing.
I slept well that night for I was totally knackered. The next morning we packed up our tents; this took about five minutes. I love my pop up tent! The walk back to the car was hell. It was more than muddy. I was caked in it! My shoes are now in the bin 8(
I feel the need for a paragraph devoted to the toilets alone. They weren't as bad as I thought they'd be. Ok, so there was crap on the floor and stuff but hey, we were camping i.e. roughing it. I was going to take a picture of one of them but then I decided that'd be wrong. I'm sure you're all glad about that.
I have loads and loads of pictures but it's going to take me forever to upload them. I'll get them on here asap though. As I was fairly close to the stage for each band you can actually see the members. I can't wait to show you them!
I understand that this post makes little sense and for that I am sorry.

I saw this earlier and I just had to post it. Basically, the two guys in this video raised the lion as it was abandoned. Years after her release, they go back to find her. She hears her name being called and they are reunited. Awww!

Yesterday I went to see the parade along the front at Clacton. All I can say is at least they tried. It was a little tacky but really enjoyable and I had a laugh. I forgot my camera though 8(
Today I went to Alton Water with my mum. The last few weeks/months/years have been quite stressful so we thought we'd just spend the day relaxing. We took a blanket and a picnic and we just chilled.
( my day... )
